“I have long admired the collective art work of Tina Jensen. I've followed her career for many years and her work continues to be  a feast for the eyes, but for the heart as well. Her art work expresses her bond with our natural world and to find and see beauty in things that have long since been retired of their original purpose. Her journals and small books are utterly breathtaking in their simplicity and minimalism.Photos from many years past find themselves nestled onto vintage book covers, tattered and worn, a few splashes of paint, the pure delight when being paired with even older fabrics and what comes forth is a lifetime of curated memories that one can cradle in one's palm, hold close, cherish. A feeling of unmistakeable calm rushes in to replace the noise so ever present in this day and age.

Her collages reveal the tenderness she gives to each element present in them. Each being given its own voice without competing with the other elements held within. There is a wholeness that unifies each individual piece. They can stand alone or as a series. In either case the viewer is left to wonder and be delighted. There is room for interpretation that is uncluttered and true. A rawness with a soft edge. Identity without boundaries. Vision from what is held within. Tina's artwork is beauty that resonates deeply, quietly, softly and who doesn't need more of that in their lives.”
